Oh god I don't know...

Nancy and Marjan are a couple and madly in love (that seems to be an unpopular opinion to some lol)

uhm ok. let me think.

I'm not really a Mateo fan (even without him dating Nancy). He was everyone's idiot little brother in season 1... but just never really matured while the others did. I mean he's late 20s at least, a fully qualified firefighter... but still dense as fuck. And the little parts of maturity we do see are few and far between. Like the gas leak thing with his roommates before he moved in with Owen, and helping out his old captain and rescuing people in the dust storm. But other than that they still treat/write him like a kid. He feels like Nancy's little brother instead of her boyfriend.

and this is probably borderline blasphemy but I didn't like the plain black tuxes as tarlos wedding outfits. They could have at least given them some colourful shirts!

They were still cute though ❤

what are your road trip necessities? i.e. best road trip snacks, best album to play on repeat, podcast to listen to with your pals, etc... (and if you don't ever take road trips... imagine that you take road trips🤣)

hi heather 💜 thank you for this ask! i'm so sorry it took me so long to answer it.

as it turns out, i'm writing road trip tarlos right now, so this seemed really perfect. i'm giving tarlos sugary snacks with no nutritional value (they'll have to get their nutrition after the trip is over i guess 😘) and a chaotic playlist (mostly because tk is the designated co-pilot and he's trying to keep things FRESH).

my road trip season is also coming up! i do a lot of snowsports in the winter (yes, there is snow in australia - it's not very GOOD but there is snow), and that involves 8 hours of driving most weekends. my road trip essentials are clif bars (macadamia and white chocolate is the GOAT), sour patch kids, coffee (lots of it, probably also a red bull on the way up because it's like 5am), music that is going to keep me awake (either Ibiza vibes or grime/garage lmao) or a podcast that is going to make me laugh. the album i'm most likely to put on repeat is probably gang signs & prayer (stormzy) or konichiwa (skepta), but i'm equally as likely to play my marathon running playlist or my warm up music which is just straight EDM.

i know people are prob rolling their eyes right now 😂

Fun things to squeal about: Louis the Second looking very happy with his basking lamp and his loving parent watching over him. Paul absolutely crushing it as the officiant. TK's little comments to Carlos during the vows "you memorized it didn't you?" "we both ended with 'heart'" so cute 🥰 TK went to Tommy and coerced her into singing at his wedding and he probably busted out the big guns by giving her the sad eyes when doing so.

There's my quick list! 💜 (I definitely have some criticisms of the finale as a whole but I did truly enjoy quite a bit of cute little things ^^)

LOUIS THE SECOND! I adore Lou II! I'm actually writing a fic about him right now! I'm so glad we saw him again, and TK taking comfort in him was so 🥰

Paul as the officiant. I will never get over that! It's just so personal to me that he was the officiant, like that was the only way they should have done it.

The VOWS. Were so good!!! So perfect for the two of them, and the little comments from TK were adorable!!

And Tommy singing the song was just so amazing. One of my favorite parts, the way they dedicated it to Gwyn and ended off with that. So beautiful.

Thank you again!! I also have criticisms, but it is what it is, and for my own sanity I'm happy to be focusing on the things I loved!

Hello! 👋 I saw your tags about the bee cave on the Marjan outfit post I made. I wondered the exact same thing when I made those gifs... so on behalf of someone who already did the googling: Bee Cave, TX is a real place in Texas near Austin. It apparently got its name from colonies of Mexican honeybees that swarmed around a limestone cave in the area. Unclear if the honeybees are still there given the way people tend to ruin such things lol. the visitbeecavetexas.com website does lean into the bee theme though and I appreciate it. 🐝
