OMG, if you do a gossip girl KC fusion like how you are doing it for Harry Potter right now, that would be AMAZING!! I want to know your take on which characters Caroline and Klaus would be like. I feel like Klaus is totally Chuck material and Caroline is Blair 100% with just a few different quirks. Btw, I have a huge exam on Sunday, but I'm still obsessing over your Tuesday update 🙈. Procrastination is going to be the death of me.

I might!! Not sure yet. It’ll depend how I feel about the show once I get through it, though I definitely might write something with aspects of it (though probably not in high school). And yeah, I’m a Chair shipper tbh (so far, at least), even though Chuck tbh makes me feel icky because of the first episode. I get very squeamish about sexual assault, obviously, so it’s not my favorite. 

I hope you did well on your exam!! And I’m so happy you liked the update. That makes me feel all warm and fuzzy <333

THANK YOU!!!!! I’m so happy you’re excited for more writing 😊 I’ve just been really really busy for the last few months. I’m excited I’ll have more time to write now!! And I can’t believe you or anyone else still remembers taste test but I AM working on it....slowly....sometimes. I’m happy you still think of it and are excited for it!!! That’s like...the highest compliment tbh.

Caroline carefully set a glass of water in front of each guy in the booth, setting her tray down at the next table and pulling her notepad out of her apron. They all looked completely wasted, and she made a mental note to tip off Ric in the back office that there was a frat group in case she needed backup.

Two a.m. shifts were the worst.

“Hi, my name is Caroline and I’ll be taking care of you today. Any drinks to start?”

“I want a beer,” the one closest to her slurred, reaching for his water glass and grabbing the air next to it.

“We don’t serve alcohol here.”

“But I want beer.”

“Sir, this is an IHOP. We don’t serve alcoholic beverages.”

“That’s not fair.”

“Write your congressman,” Caroline suggested dryly.

“You’re not very good at customer service,” he observed. “I want to speak to the manager.”

“I am the manager.”

She was not the manager.

Thank you!! I reread Wings and omigod I was so little and newwww. I’ll have to try to figure out where I was going with that.

Anyway, here’s a sneak peek for Some Body It is SUPER rough and is from the next chapter set in the present. Enjoy!

“Assuming your story is true, did your mother believe that Mr. Mikaelson was connected in a way that would help eliminate the threat to your life?” Camille asked.

Caroline’s eyes narrowed. “Well, as you so helpfully pointed out, lying under oath is perjury, so yeah, it’s true. As for my mom, that wouldn’t make any sense. He owns a casino. How is he supposed to protect me? A poker game with deadly odds?” she asked sarcastically.

“Do you believe Mr. Mikaelson has ever been involved in any criminal activities?”

Caroline widened her eyes innocently. “At the casino? I mean, sometimes the bartenders would let fake IDs slide or whatever, but nothing significant.”

“Not just at the casino.”

“I’m not sure what you mean.”

“Do you remember if your fiance had any other work he was doing?”

Caroline cocked her head to the side, inwardly patting herself on the back at her perfect ‘confused’ face. “You mean his art?”

“No. I mean possible criminal activities.”

It was immensely satisfying to watch Camille struggle, certain that Caroline was lying but unable to pin her down. Caroline had no doubt that Camille didn’t have enough evidence to implicate her even if they somehow did dig something up on Klaus. She was just trying to corner her into flipping and giving Klaus up, and Caroline had no intention of falling for it.

Instead, she gave Camille a saccharine smile. “I don’t recall.”

Camille let out a sharp breath, giving Caroline a filthy look before nodding at Enzo.

“Let’s take a break for lunch.”

She understood why Klaus enjoyed this so much.

Hi! Thank you for all you've written for us! :) I don't think I've ever not loved something you've posted that I've read. Of all your stories, which is your favourite and least favourite? And which has been the best/your favourite to write? The most challenging? Sorry for all the questions lol, please don't feel like you have to answer! :)

Awww thank you!!!!!!!!!! I’m so happy you like my fics! You have no idea how much i needed to hear that today.

I’d say that though Safehouse and Travelers both hold special places in my heart, they are my least favorites because I can’t read them without cringing. I feel like I did really well with plot on both, but my execution was like...fine? I had JUST STARTED writing though, so I forgive myself lol I also feel like it should go without saying but I am not a fan of Extra Credit and Further Ed.

All of my other fics are my favorites for different reasons lol. I love Chain of Dreams’ Temptation because I feel like I did really well with Klaus’s characterization and I enjoyed writing it a lot. I feel like my other favorites are ones that I haven’t actually published enough of yet to justify, but I hope you guys end up liking Spitting Image and Eonar’s Gift as much as I do. I’m loving Public Nuisance right now too.

The most challenging one to write is DEFINITELY Circuit Break. I literally have to be on my computer to write it because I have to do so much tabbing between chapters and outlines to keep everything straight. It’s the kind of fic where my headcanons and ideas spanned much longer than I could put in a fic of its length, and even at 150k, which is where it’ll probably end up clocking in if I’m lucky, it’ll be a little rushed. I’m also having a lot of trouble with Some Body right now for various reasons.

yes!! work has calmed down a notch so I’m writing right now. @candycolamorgan sufficiently jump-started my inspiration last night. I will hopefully have something rough draft adjacent later today for @garglyswoof to look over when she has time. Thank you so muchhh 💖💖💖
