Guibemantis tornieri
Guibemantis tornieri (Mantellidae) is a species of frog endemic to East-Central and Southeastern Madagascar.
Some authors consider Guibemantis a subgenus of Mantidactylus, and Guibemantis tornieri synonym to Mantidactylus tornieri.
Guibemantis tornieri is a medium-sized brownish treefrog (43-49 mm), with dorsum normally uniformly light brown, sometimes with darker spots and a dark brown transverse band between the eyes.
One of the distinguishing characteristics of this species, as well as other frogs within the subfamily Mantellinae, is the Y-shaped terminal phalanges.
