When a dog enters your life, they fill all the empty gaps you had inside your heart. The reason you cannot ever truly be sad in their presence is because they filled all the places that sadness would have inhabited. They make your life whole, they make a house a home and they give you purpose even when you can’t find it yourself. My wild Rose is truly the life and soul of the party. She is the Jester of our household and without a doubt the most exuberant pooch I’ve ever known. But for all of her nutty ways and weird habits. She is a truly sweet and caring soul and I’ll always be grateful that she came into my life when she did. Being an adult sometimes can feel very demanding and often a little daunting at times. But Rosie always makes me look on the bright side of life which is something that copious amounts of therapy over the years never truly did.
