........
Why?...
Okay. I don’t really post much in the way of adult content, but because people are making a mass exodus from this site once the new Tumblr guidelines take effect, I thought I would say this: I DO STILL HAVE A DEVIANTART THAT I POST TO IF YOU WOULD LIKE TO CONTINUE SEEING MY CONTENT WHEN YOU LEAVE: www.deviantart.com/ranger-26
Other than responses to asks and whatnot -- I also post my content there as well, so rest-assured, you will not miss much from someone like myself if you are making the switch to DA.
Although I haven’t been posting much these past couple of months I do still plan on staying on Tumblr. It has just been difficult to make content when we are experiencing the gradual shift into our “new normal” (updates coming about that soon).
@staff's recent guideline change is vague on purpose, y'all. A judge literally ruled that Tumblr's 2019 adult content ban disproportionately affected their LGBT creators. The new guidelines are vague for a reason, and that reason is so that they can disproportionately enforce their rules, as they please, knowing fully well it's gonna cause LGBT topics to get removed far more often than a cishet topic of similar weight.
announcement!
common squicks, triggers, and intense topics will now be tagged as topic // also a couple super quick additions to my guidelines, nothing major just housekeeping basically:
mutuals only. i've had some weird and off-putting experiences with people in the past, so i'm selective with who i follow/interact with and ask that only mutuals send in memes, interact with starter calls, reply to opens, etc. i always make sure to read all about, rules, and guidelines pages before i follow someone, so it may take me a couple days or even a couple weeks to follow back depending on how busy i am. i ask that you at least softblock if you're breaking mutuals. i will also softblock if i'm breaking mutuals or removing a follow if i don't follow back, however that doesn't mean we can't revisit interacting in the future. if i genuinely do not want to interact going forward i will hardblock.
affiliates && mains. my approach to affiliates and mains is pretty much just people that i enjoy writing with because we know each other ooc and have plotted together, talked about our muses, dynamics, etc. this means i probably won't ever post a mains/affiliates call, because for me this develops naturally with muns i click with and am legit friends with ooc. if we already talk ooc and you want to be mains/affiliates then absolutely bug me in dms/on discord and i'm sure i'll be down to add you!
//I've updated my guidelines slightly.
Mainly, I will ask for permission from my rp partners before adding the option to tip to our threads.
Before, it was that by rping with me, you automatically agree to it, but I felt this didn't represent my intentions well. And I don't want that to be the thing standing between us rping together.
As of now, I don't see myself adding the tipping option to threads. I'll probably just add it to my blog and some non-thread og posts. Still figuring this out.
(minor) rules update
hello, hope everyone's week is going well! so i have made a couple minor changes to my guidelines, pretty much just tweaked my triggers & content warnings. nothing major really, but see below if you'd like to read as a refresher (the only new thing is specifying that mun ≠ muse).
