“You’re a bit young to be leading a guild, aren’t you?” Shouyo trotted to catch up with Conan as he continued to walk down the halls, introducing them to members as they walked by.
“A little,” Conan admitted with a shrug. “But it’s always been a dream of mine to lead a guild, so I’m not complaining. I kinda wish it was my own guild that I had founded, but I’m happy with this.”
“You aren’t the founder?” Koja questioned. “Did something happen to the founder?”
Conan was quiet for a moment, his brows furrowing. “No, Minerva founded the guild,” he murmured.
“What happened to her?” Hiyou asked. Conan stopped and looked over at them, his ears twitching.
“A month after making me second in command, she stepped down.” His gaze turned dark. “And then she vanished. No one knows why she left, or where she is now. Sometimes cats swear they caught glimpses of her in the forest, but those are just rumors. Personally, I think Minerva’s long gone. Out of town, out of the area, out of Catania even.”
