A collection of headcanons and ideas (feat. my OCs)
Casper and Callista have made the Potion of Instant Spoiled Milk. They gave it to Surya without telling him what it was.
A gorotama ball popped during a meeting between the Goyens. It scared the absolute shit out of them all. Sugoi jumped like a cat, Sanga vanished into a shadow, Mara just about turned the room into a jungle, and Surya screeched and fell out of his chair (he denies it later). It took them an hour to figure out what had happened.
Surya has more scarring than just on his face. It's just easier to hide under his clothes. It's the main reason he's so covered up; less taxing on his energy to have the illusion only on exposed patches of skin rather than a full body illusion.

His situationship with Naledi is an open secret among the Goyens. They're aware of it, but don't really talk about it.
She fell first (childhood crush that never fully faded), he fell harder (he didn't even remember her).
He keeps it secret from the students purely because he thinks it's funny. And because the students keep making up elaborate plots to get them together, which gives him an excuse to see her more often.
He once rammed straight into a pillar in the feasting hall, in front of everyone, because he was staring at her. The students are solidly split 50/50 on whether or not she likes him back.
One of the attempts to get the two together involved the Bards asking her to come watch them practice and then talking Surya into showing off. He did not use his Tama like the students were begging him to since he knew it would give her a headache. Tried to show off his footwork instead, and then promptly slipped in the mud and ate shit.
She's nailed him in the ass with a Gorotama ball from across the field before. What for, who knows, but she's done it, and he was both impressed and indignant. (It was an accident, but she's also not at all sorry about it).
Aster ended up as the Knights' Goyens by sheer accident. Every time something happens and he thinks he's finally going to be free some ridiculous bullshit happens that keeps him there. ("You hired a new Goyen? Without telling us???" "Oh, thank god, finally the spell will be broken and I can go back-" "Oh, this is just like you!" "WHAT.")
The Goyens scare him, the students scare him, the sport scares him, the school also kind of scares him why is it so high up-
He just wants to go home and kiss his boyfriend is that too much to ask???
Aster mentions his "shy florist boyfriend" occasionally and it's usually harmless and adorable things.
And then he dropped the fucking bombshell of "he knows how to hide a body" along with a hint that his boyfriend probably also used that information and the students have never let it go.
Poking my head out from under my rock for a possible explanation behind the short season length/long hiatus until next season's release:
Labor laws.
Disney's not the one making Dragon Striker. They likely have a hand in it, and they have the rights to host it on their services, but the actual animation is being done by La Chouette Compagnie in France.
I am not familiar with France's labor laws. But if they're even marginally better than America's has been, it's most likely that the series' long hiatus and shorter seasons are purely because of the labor laws, not because of Disney's meddling. Though I wouldn't put it past Disney to meddle in this to some degree tbh.
Go Knights! Dragon edition! AKA I'm back on my Spyro bullshit. Key's element is fire, Ssyelle's is ice, Milo's is water, Odward's is light, and Ameline I haven't decided on since her tama is a nightmare to translate into an element. Considering fear for her.
Is anyone else having an issue with the BepInExPack for Silksong not working? I tried it on two different mod launchers, and neither have worked. When I tried with one it refused to launch at all, saying it couldn't find the preloader. The other just keeps launching vanilla on me. Is it just an issue of things going on behind the scenes and the pack just is down right now, or did I somehow fuck something up?
I'm splitting Unweaving the Tapestry of Fate into a series of fics for organization purposes rather than having it all be in one giant one-shot collection. The original fic has instead been changed so the first chapter is now the only one, and will act as an alternate POV for scenes in Satin's fic, Cutting the Rot.
Phantom's chapter has been moved here, and I will release the other two eventually.
I've also made a new blog for Unweaving Fate. I will still post art relating to it here on the artblog, this new one is just for organization purposes and text posts relating to the au such as lore, sneak peaks, and updates.
