Guilt finale spoilers
So I didn’t get my wish then, no James in the finale. He seriously just buggered off and was never seen again. I... honestly don’t know how I feel about that. I mean, on the one hand I still think it makes his character rather superfluous, plot-wise. Nothing really came out of his being there at all. A red herring at best (and admittedly one I clung to until the last possible moment, although I doubt many other viewers did). But on the other hand I'm grateful for every single scene he was in, because they were all brilliant. Not important, maybe, but brilliant. I just... I don’t know... I don’t know what the writers’ intentions were and if it was clear from the start that they would cast Tony or not... and I kinda like the idea that maybe they just wanted to have him in it, you know, because it’s kinda flattering, but at the same time it’s really not, because the role is just... so... pointless. I’m torn here.
Aside from that, I think I liked how everything was resolved. It made sense. It was a good finale, gripping and satisfying (apart from the one face that didn’t show up, see above) and full of suspense and... yeah, it was cool.
Veena being Stan’s daughter though? Like, really? Super unnecessary, lame and soapy and... just no. I could have done without that part.
But I’m gonna end this post on a positive note: I freaking love Daisy Head, she’s a total star. I can’t wait to see either Guilt’s second season - if there’s going to be one - or really anything else she does. Wow.
anyway the guilt season finale was absolutely incredible and you should definitely watch the show if you haven't already so that it can get a second season
Guilt Finale Predictions
So look on my other post to see my reasoning on why Charlotte killed Molly, but I really think that Grace is going to be found guilty, hence the slow tears on her face in the last scene in the promo. Like no way would anyone link Charlotte to the murder (in the promo u see the killer wearing long black sleeves and gloves, Charlotte was smart), and since Theo really didn't do it, they can't find Theo guilty, and the royal family would NEVER let one of them be arrested in a highly publicised murder. Sooo, Charlotte did it, but everyone thinks Theo did it. Theo really didn't, so he can testify or take lie detectors, and everyone will see his innocence. Theo can't give up Charlotte, because that is horrible for the royal family image, so it stays their secret. And since Charlotte didn't leave fingerprints or DNA anywhere, they can't link her to the crime. So Grace becomes the scapegoat, in the last minute is declared guilty, and our hearts break and we are supposed to demand a Season 2.
Who killed Molly Ryan....
Am I the only one predicting it is Charlotte? Like in a 10 ep murder mystery like this, its always someone who was never hinted at being the suspect, and someone who we will be blindsided with until they reveal their motive in the last ep. CHARLOTTE. (sidenote- the entire guilt season reminded me of secrets and lies s1, u really should check it out)
But like I bet she knew for a long time Theo went to the sex club, and she is probably really smart and like follows Theo/taps his phone. When she found out Theo got Molly pregnant, that was the last straw for her. She knew Theo would be sucked into a double live having to provide for Molly’s baby, so she ended Molly so she would be to only lady for Theo. And remeber when she said “the killer could be sitting at this very table”, she meant herself bc she is so confident she will never be caught, but she said it to make Theo feel guilty. Theo is the biggest red herring ever. Like if they spent 4 episodes making it look like hes guilty and the killer, it means he’s NOT the killer. Classic tv show thing.
justavon answered your question:Can anyone tell me what that says please?
You’d better keep quiet.
omg thank you so much!!
