i do not want to raise any more guinea pigs once pascal passes away, but seeing lil abbysinians and teddies really tests me.

I have to get one of my little guy's scripts from a human pharmacy but I was not prepared for the pharmacy to send me a text that begins "hello pascal guinea pig lastname, you have refills due"

"will you be able to give [your old man guinea pig] eye drops?" "yeah he can't even fly it'll be fine"

i love giving my little guy grapes or cherry tomatoes because they will just roll around when he tries to take a bite and he will get SO mad about it. enrichment!

i have to give hamlet pain medication every day for his tumor and i was a bit worried about this, because pascal hated this pain med when he had to take it and hamlet is extremely bitey on his own. however hamlet LOVES getting his medication. its not for the medicine. he yearns for the syringe. he will try to yank it out of my hand and chew on it furiously for several minutes even when the medicine is gone. i'm glad he's finding new hobbies even in his old age.

playing guinea pig videos in the same room as my guinea pigs is so funny. they run all over the cage and start yelling back at it like "dad who the FUCK is in my house"

a thing pascal does that i love is that whenever he sees i'm ready to pick him up from floor time he runs into his fleece bag hidey so that i can easily deposit him into his cage. its like the only thing he knows how to do
