In all the chaos of work, life, and producing my comic, I totally forgot this hadn’t been uploaded.
So, I commissioned the lovely and supremely talented @inklingdinkling / @tomatop to finally bring to you all the canon look of my new OC and new hero of the Squidly Story, Gene Upolu.
He might now be Lee’s Yokai buddy, Guist but he’ll also be one of my playable characters alongside Lee and Camille. Be sure to look out for him; he specializes in Blasters and Squelchers.
Quick Note: lolo and pupule are Hawaiian for crazy, the latter being a slang term.
Yo! Yo!! those wisps on his tentacles are so cool! And actually, Guist/Gene is originally from a location similar to Samoa but I won’t split hairs over that since I actually didn’t know that little bit of trivia and it’s cool! Thank you so very very much
