I hope you haven’t broken it omg. Well, I’m here to answer any music theory questions if you need help with those (going onto my 4th semester of it, man). A 16th note. Well, you have a whole note which takes up a whole measure, half note is half of a whole (you can be in like 4/4, the number on the bottom tells what note gets the beat in one measure, so half of a whole (4 beat note) would be a 2 beat note), then you half that again- quarter, half again- 8th, half again- 16th and so on. Triads are three notes (tri) that make up a chord. It can be a major, minor, diminished or augmented chord (look into those if you don’t know the differences), triple time can be ¾, BUT in my years of experience, it’s either triplets in a simple meter, or it’s a compound meter where the division of the beat is not 2, but 3. For example, 2/4 is 1& 2&, but 6/8 is 1(2,3) 2(2,3) it has a swing to it (and for heaven’s sake 6/8 does not mean the 8th note gets the beat for anyone who thinks so. It’s the dotted quarter coz it’s like 2/4 2 quarter notes= 6/8 2 dotted quarters (3 8th notes)) As far as chords go…bruh, just memorize and learn as you go there really isn’t anything I can do for you there.
