honestly if i'm googling shit like this i probably don't care about resale value
many people also said it wouldn't sound like an electric guitar, which is also probably not a concern at that point
the big thing is every person who also tries this does it with a passive pickup. not a single result i've come across so far mentions an active pickup
the structural stability between the soundhole and the bridge does get brought up a couple times which i will admit is probably a legitimate concern, however i would like to propose the following arguments:
