July 2019 | Yesterday was one of the really special days that kind of sneak up on you. Laura surprised me with a supremely awesome whale watching trip for my 33 trips around the sun, and it was pretty amazing. I haven't been writing a lot on my posts as I have been thinking about the value and meaning behind using social media. For a while, it allowed me to meet a lot of people across the globe as a blogger and inspired others via my traveling/surfing life style. As I transitioned to having a career that I love but it's no longer is the typical traveling the world with no set schedule kind of life, I started to wonder why do I need social media as I didn't think I "inspire" people with my new career. However, as I moved into a new city, I met a group of amazing people. They taught me, being anywhere can be fun and adventure as traveling, as long as you love being with who you are and enjoy just being. Inspire someone this weekend to get outside and play, meet new people or just do something different.
