yaaaaaaaaayy the mega-evolution/space ranger costume alt Sulu is done ‧₊˚✩ 🪐✩˚₊‧
This is the first costume ive been able to make in over 8 months, im pretty sure my main fabric supplier thought i straight up died in between orders.
about this costume: I used white and sky blue neoprene scuba and blue stretch vinyl from big Z fabric, holographic dots in the colors Royal/Royal and Turquoise/Turquoise spandex, along with white/aurora holo PU stretch vinyl from spandex world. I also used 0.8mm holovinyl film, and EVA foam in thicknesses 2mm and 4mm. Other accents are clear half-dome ornaments or novelty star shaped stress balls.
#my cosplay#cosplay#OC cosplay#OC art#transient#the lighting is off on these for a good reason it wasnt incompetence i had to fight a colossus and failed#normally i have LED strip lights that de-jank the lighting situation in my appartment and theyre critical to avoid yellow-green lighting#but like all things in this hellacious age theyre unnecessarily ''''smart'''' and require an app#but the app got an update that made them borderline unusable#first i had to now create an account to turn on my LAMP THAT I PAID REAL USD CURRENCY for and have already owned for 5 years#but the worst part was one of them connected OK but the other one just refused to connect bc it couldnt 'connect to the router' (its a lamp#and they included a feature that makes it so you literally cant use them at all unless its connected to the app#bc if you just try to plug it in without logging it the light will rapidly blink non stop at full brightness#and im not epileptic but it was so jarring and intense i was having a really hard time troubleshooting while it was flashing#i couldnt withstand it so i had to give up#so thats why the lighting looks dull
