She knows that swing-state voters are gullible and easily swayed by promises and empty rhetoric
In a recent campaign spot, Kamala Harris promises swing-state voters that she will be tough on the border. However, what the spot conveniently leaves out is her significant role as the “border czar” during her time in the administration. It’s no wonder they chose to omit this information, considering the fact that under her tenure, Customs and Border Protection has recorded over 20 million illegal-immigrant encounters nationwide, with a staggering 80% of them occurring at the southern border.
While Harris may be trying to appeal to gullible voters by promising to crack down on the border, her past actions and statements tell a different story. In 2019, she publicly criticized the Obama administration for deporting illegal immigrants. This raises questions about the authenticity of her current stance and whether it is merely a political ploy to win votes.
It’s important for voters to consider these facts when evaluating Harris’ promises regarding border security. Actions speak louder than words, and her track record as “border czar” raises concerns about her ability to effectively address the ongoing immigration crisis. Voters deserve transparency and honesty from their elected officials, especially when it comes to such critical issues as national security and immigration.
