Gully’s Goes All-NY Craft Beer! The Newburgh waterfront’s infamous floating bar is back for Summer 2015 with a whole new image, all New York State beer and a brand new menu. Re-opening this weekend, under the new watch of Joe Valentine, the former owner of the Firebird restaurant in Times Square, the former dive bar(ge) will now be serving 20 taps from the likes of locals Keegan Ales, Captain Lawrence, Roscoe, up-the-hill neighbors Newburgh Brewing (Chris & Paul from Newburgh with manager Joe pictured above), plus more from upstate like Ithaca and Adirondack. All beers will be $6 across the board, with $24 pitchers all summer long. The menu is brand new as well, featuring locally-sourced ingredients, and cool, delicious twists on American fare like the pictured Brisket Hush Puppies, Devils on Horseback- bacon wrapped, bleu cheese stuffed dates, and more like spicy apricot glazed pork wings. Late-night munchies won't be a problem either with the kitchen set to stay open until near closing time, which will be 11pm during the week and 2am Fridays and Saturdays, with lunch also available every day starting at noon. Spread the word that Gully's is back and better than ever.
