Like an hr or so ago, I was on pinterest randomly looking up seasoning mixes and file’ came up!
For those of you who don’t know what file’ is, it’s a vital seasoning that goes into Gumbo. Preferably at the very end.
Anyway, when I clicked on the pin, it lead to this New Orleans cuisine blog website. While browsing, I was just in awe of all the different recipes, cookbooks and stories that were on there. It really makes me miss the town and has got me contemplating on whether or not I want to go to Mardi Gras this year, lol!
So as I was scrolling, I scrolled all the way down to the bottom and saw that this blog listed even more blogs and websites that specialize in creole and cajun cooking. I haven’t finished looking at all of them, but so far this website has caught my eye bc they have authentic recipes.
Like I’m in heaven ya’ll and procrastinating like hell rn! Honestly, I either need to be studying or sleep, but I’M OBSESSED WITH THESE WEBSITES!
Browsing these websites has really inspired me to perfect my creole (& cajun) cooking techniques.
I wonder what creole dish I can cook this week during meal prep day!?
