bonus:
Travertine by Pipe-Eye and Old Transistor Radio by Gumbrose are sisters and I don’t think I need to elaborate
new ambrose song about being a weak as piss twink and an sjw just dropped 🔥🔥🔥
I saw something about this and I was hoping it would be on YouTube! Sounds like it's past Amby's bedtime, but there are some good stories:)
Ambrose and Gum on Rage
oMG OMG really good song everyone listen to it now
Every year, my top song of the year ends up being Some Random Shit I Listen to On Repeat Before Bed to go Sleepy. So every year I have to go “nonono my real top song is THIS.” Very rarely, my top song and the song I listen to to sleep are the same. (Last time this happened was 2022, when I listened to Persevere by Gang of Youths so much you would have thought I was having a crisis of faith, which I wasn’t.)
Last year, it was very close. If I had found Dud by Gum and Ambrose ~2 months earlier, it would have won. As is, it was my second most listened to song, and they quite literally didn’t even give me a percentage stat, which I took to mean I listened more than any other human. I cannot express how insane this is—I found the song in mid-October.
Anyways, I listened to 123k minutes of music last year, and my New Year’s resolution was to actually spend time with my thoughts and not just put in headphones. Unfortunately, I listened to 18k minutes of music in January, not including however much time I spent listening to live videos on YouTube and with me cutting my sleep timer in half (30 minutes instead of an hour), so I’m failing immensely.
