yeah like, their communication is superb. I remember reading the tags on a gif post that like. Got It ya kno. it was when juliana was mad and scared bc of the shit happening with her mom and she hadn't told Val her dad was a sicario yet. so she's like lashing out with words and Valentina basically takes a breath and tells her that this is what's gonna happen. that she hates seeing her like this but she wasn't gonna leave and that scene is SO IMPORTANT. u can fucking see it on juls face, A+++++++

My favorite take on their communication...and I’ve said this before.. Is when Val told Juls to be completely honest with her about Jacobo... after Lupe begged Juliana not to tell Valentina the truth... and Juls didn’t hesitate to be honest when Val asked her if Jacobo was her father... 

And, even though Val was confused and angry, she still listened when Juls asked her to let her explain...

I love them and their dynamic so much... and I miss them just as much...

1) love the absolute flack the fandom is giving those youtubers for their abysmal clickbaity reaction to this ship that means so much more than what they made it out to be 2) multichapter juliantina fic by your hands????? my fave person in this fandom that completely Gets these characters and this story and can expand on what we were already given in the most detailed and thoughtful way?? im so excited for this its embarassing. and multi verses?? holy shit m8, youre gonna break this fandom.

your CR meta analysis and break down of interactions are GOLDEN, like u really get these characters and how every action they do or thing they say, like what it means according to who they are and what theyve lived and its great. and your one shots and stuff showcase that in a really amazing way too. i havent caught up with the most recent eps of this season but after exams i def wanna catch up just to read your takes on everything thats happened. thanks for sharing all of ur thoughts on this!!

youre absolutely right, i get that its a novela and it isnt something they would necessarily delve into (hell, most shows in general wouldnt) but like, these issues these characters have dont just go away ya know? communication is something im dying to see more of (bc in canon theyre so good at it??? like its amazing, love to see it) as well as them dealing with things that the show kinda brushed under the rug. thats why fanfics and analysis done by certain fans is so gooood

Their communication is one of the reasons I love them so much.. and they are straight up with each other... no bs...

Fanfic fills in gaps or adds things that we would love to see.. That’s why I enjoy writing it.. even though I do a lot of AU’s... I like the freedom of those cause you keep the personalities and the canon stuff but tell your own story...

"dont push it" make me gasp and laugh so hard. its so accurate omg :((( they really do love eachother so much but man do they need therapy. ive been scrolling thru ur appreciate juliantina posts lately and its been a gr8 time catching up with why i loved them so much again.

AUGH thanks SO much!!!!! the longer i continue to post this fic, the more terrified i am that i will inadvertently spoil something. my self-control is waning. but as day follows night is absolutely the fic i am most proud of writing; i put a lot of work into the world-building and the plot and the characterization and the everything, and i’m definitely into the concept of coming back to that ‘verse again. (i know it’s not fully posted but it is fully finished, lmao.)
