the art for a magic card I had the idea of. This would be for the green black "Candy Kingdom Carnage" precon deck. because it's a precon, it has a bit of an identity crisis and and built for two different playstyles: One is a food production and payoff deck (With the face commander, Princess Loolilalau) and a deck/ top deck manipulation style with Gummigoo, a new take for the green black color scheme.
Lore: After Caine deleted him, Gummigoo found himself in the "Quarantine" zone of the mainframe, where glitches, bugs, and unwanted things are sent to rot until the computer gets around to actually deleting them. He was saved by Dr. Cog, a resident there. He now wanders around and scours the circus, looking for the girl he can seem to remember.
Color identity: Fate/ deck manipulation is a new take on the green black identity. With green being the color of fate and time as an endlessly marching entity that slowly grind everything to dust, and black being the color of control, ambition, and defiance in your own self interest, this meshes to a man trying desperately to fight against the narrative clawing his way against god just to spite him.
We see the roots of this identity in greens top deck manipulation/ information gathering(augur of autumn, for example) and blacks card draw at any cost (Dark confidant, sign in blood, etc etc) leads to the possibility of a inverse lantern of insight style of gameplay.
