homestuck and madonka

I started reading Homestuck after my sisters recommended I read it. Actually... quite a while after they recommended it... hey in all fairness it's huge and I never got round to it for a long time okay?! //weeps

So around two years ago I sat down and read it all in the space of a few weeks, and I don't regret it. It's amazing, worth the time, worth the constant tears and angry yelling at Hussie. It has one of the best set of characters I've ever encountered, with an in-depth and well-written plot that still amazes me.

And Madoka was something I decided to watch after I joined tumblr, and sO MUCH PAIN ENSUED. SO MUCH. it might have been a post about kaworu and homura time travelling actually... but tbh i can't remember if i watched nge before madoka or vice versa

Yooo there's a lot of bogus rumors about dgm floating around and I am 100% sure they are bullshit except the one where there was an OFFICIAL PAGE IN JUMP SQ saying Hoshino is on hiatus to recover from illness. I've always stalked all the chinese/japanese/etc websites for news and all the rumors are always debunked. Don't spread any of the bogus rumors it really annoys me how many spring up :') However, Hoshino's instagram is real so we're hoping for a new chap soon

I'm glad to hear that. I suppose the only reason I was doubtful was because she was well enough to do the character design for Valvrave, but maybe it's because they were less taxing than drawing for DGM. Anyways, I want to reiterate that I don't know anything for sure, and no matter what the reason, I hope she gets better soon and is able to draw more DGM.

uuuuuuUUUUUHHHHHHH.

1. I'm proud of how far I've come as an artist and I'm actually pretty good at art, animation, and design. Sometimes I can get frustrated but as a whole it's the thing I like about myself the most.

2. I'm a good big sister. Not the best by a longshot, but the extremely close relationships I have with my younger siblings are a point of pride for me. Not only because they make me so proud, but because I know that loving relationships devoid of bitterness between siblings is a pretty rare thing, and it's even rarer given the pretty large age difference between me and them. (5 years is nothing to sniff at). 

3. I'm a friendly, open and considerate person all things considered. Despite being a pretty heavy introvert and all my other flaws that might not make me someone's favorite person, I pretty much always try to be considerate and friendly, especially to strangers and servicepeople. I can do stupid and pretty inconsiderate things--mostly out of ignorance rathern than malice--but almost every time I feel crippling guilt afterwards. XD

4. I'm pretty smart??? Not as smart as either of my siblings, and I don't value intelligence--or really, grades--the same way they do, but I know I'm pretty intelligent. The liking part is more...indifferent here. I'm glad I'm smart but I dunno about like or dislike. 

5. Running out of things. Uh. Oh! I like that I'm pretty good--or at the least that I feel compelled to--do...mentor-y things. Like, if I see somebody struggling with something and I think I can help them improve themselves, I can't just not. At least on things I have some sort of actually authority on, anyway. Like animation and art, storytelling, asexuality...yadda yadda. I like that about me.
