The mechanical voice was rushing him but Jinki wasn’t paying much attention to that. He was too busy digging through his pockets. His wallet had to be here somewhere. He had his T-money card on a lanyard that he’d used to get here, but apparently had neglected to bring any cash. He shot an apologetic smile at the other boy as he tried one more pocket that maybe he’d shoved money into on his way out the door. No such luck.
“Hey...do you think you could spot me the money for the ticket? I'll pay you back as soon as I get home...” He hated to ask Gunil--he didn’t actually know the other all that well--but if they wanted to get into the amusement park today, they were going to have to work something out. Maybe he had something on him that would be worthwhile collateral?
