This week it was discovered that Benchmade cut up guns for a local PD and Surefire donated money to Democratic candidates. T.REX ARMS sells Surefire products. And so we are faced with the same question many others are facing: do we buy from them in the future? What do we do with the product we already own? - We will be making policy AFTER we do some thorough research. And we do mean thorough. There's no shortage of hard info on the internet; for example, from 2010 to 2014 Surefire's PAC donated $26,966; $10k of that went to a single Democratic candidate; $16k went to four different Republican candidates. And there's plenty more info out there. And we have these things called phones - it's possible to call Surefire and ask for a statement. Surefire's actions are definitely questionable, but they don't appear to be in the league of Dick's Sporting Goods or some other hard-core Tory like that. - So we are going to take some time on our research and get it RIGHT. We've heard of a few incidents of death threats being made towards Surefire. Threatening murder is not an appropriate response to $10k in political donations. Or ever for that matter. That’s despicable behavior and should never be condoned by our community. - #surefire #politics #PAC #gunindustry #guncommunity #trexarms #trexarmskydex https://www.instagram.com/p/BuNAgm8hv04/?utm_source=ig_tumblr_share&igshid=1qb5pves7wi0b
