Hello, this is Slyjinks! I would like to request my gunner OC, Dante Flores. For his personal effect, I would like his helmet. The reason he likes his helmet is because it has saved his life more than once, and he expects it will do so again. Although he always proves himself useful enough to not get booted, he's something of a coward, so things that help him avoid being dead are of high value.

Anyone who straps a gun to themselves for caps knows that any day could be the day-- but there's nothing more harrowing than checking over your gear and realizing:

Okay so I have an OC named Gun, she runs West Side and is basically a force to be messed with, she has guns on her and her full nickname is Gunner. She is missing an eye and has a metal arm, how do you think Jack would react to her?

I think Jack would be wary of her at first. He’d try to keep his distance and just kind of let her do her thing, but he’d eventually come to like and respect her as his fellow Newsie. I think he’d annoy her though because while he can be tough and serious, she seems like she would be tough and serious all the time whereas he very much likes to be a little bit goofy sometimes.
