It was just one of those battles. Everything had gone to shit and they weren’t nearly prepared for what they were faced with. The mere spell prowess of the cultists was something that was not described by the quest. She was nearly ready to just leave this damn area.
“Vax watch your flank!-” Vex started when she heard the familiar sound of Percy’s pepperbox firing. Though she wasn’t ready to feel the piercing pain in her throat as the bullet ripped through the tender flesh of her neck. Only able to spin to catch her gaze with the gunslinger. A choked, incoherent noise leaving the half-elf before she hits the ground. A puddle of blood forming at her head.

“ why do i have to find out from vex’ahila that you two kissed? “ it was not question to anyone who spent time with vox machina that the druid and the human were best friends, way more then that to each other. even after all, even as keyleth and vax grew closer too one and other ; she still spent more time with percy, helping him in his workshop, reading beside him in the libary, listening to the stories he had to tell. perhaps keyleth didn’t run straight to percy when her feelings and, at the time, doubts started forming for vax’ildan but this was different, this was percy. a man who already knew how to speak his mind, a man who took pleasure in telling the tales of the things that made him feel good.

Caught by complete surprise Percival nearly jumped out of his skin as he leaped back suddenly encountering an…odd looking dwarf. Percy’s brow furrowed, pulling his arm that held onto his Pepperbox back and slightly pointed in the direction of the newcomer.
“It’s rather rude to sneak up on people you know.” The gunslinger’s eyes narrowed becoming only more confused with every detail he was able to gleam with his eyes. “If you mean to fight me, I suggest turning and walking the other way. I don’t like being startled.”
“Whoa buddy! Easy waves!” he said, hands raised “-I’m a dwarf of Pan, man! No murderer,” he flashed a wide and unworried smile “-I just thought that your gun looked badass! I’ve only ever seen them from far away... or in some paperwork I found once,”

“Woah woah woah! You’re okay!” She holds her hands out steading the gunslinger. “Everyone is okay.” They were all bloodied up but otherwise safe. “Take a deep breath buddy, it’s okay.”

They had entered the city, finally after weeks of traveling the could lay on a proper bed and have a good meal that wasn’t poorly dried meats and stale wine. Whitestone was a large city, something that even their new avian companion even knew about. It would be a nice change of pace from the forest and swamp.
Caleb found himself with a mug of ale in hand and a plate of food that he didn’t remember ordering sitting in front of him. It seemed to have gotten late and nearly the entire party save Mollymauk and Nott had gone to bed. Leaving the 3 members of the nien in a nearly empty bar.

What supreme force drove me to come back home? Magoichi wondered, wandering the streets of his rebuilt hometown. The original one had a taste of Nobunaga's flames because of him, though the new town was so bustling and happy, you couldn't tell a tragedy struck her only years ago. However, he wouldn't be stupid enough to wreck that peace. It'd be best everyone (even himself sometime) forgot about Nobunaga's cruelty...
And the best way to do that? Magoichi distracted himself by watching women, and he spotted another great catch in a crowd passing him by. Her reddish orange hair caught his attention in a heart beat, not to mention her rather "loose" attire. Mago's catch wandered farther down with the crowd, a notable scowl on her face. He figured his men attempted flirting with her, since they followed in his footsteps on some points.
"Hey! Wait up!" The crow chased after her, weaving through the mass to stop right next to his 'prey,' "What's a beauty like yourself wandering around a place like this? I dunno if heard the rumors, but my men? They'll try to pick up any woman who's living and breathing."

((geez dares gotta make life hard))
"Hello!" Oh mostly people he knew already, though he actually hadn't run into Motochika here yet. "I was dared to make cookies and then hand them out to five people and... that ended up being all of you. He held up a box full of cookies with icing on top, trying not to draw attention to a separate container full of heart shaped cookies. "I figured out how to use the... oven thing... but I can't guarantee they're very good."
At least this dare wasn't overly embarrassing in any way. Or at least not this part of it.
