it had taken daya approximately thirty minutes of convincing, some eyelash batting and some pouting until she had managed to convince ryker to go stargazing with her, blabbering on and on about how tonight would be the perfect night to watch the stars while also getting a chance of possibly seeing some shooting stars, as well. now, after about another fifteen minutes of speeding down the highway on his bike, daya’s arms wrapped around his middle and her cheek pressed against his toned back, they finally came to a halt as they’d arrived at their destination. being way too excited, the brunette hopped down from his bike, fingers curling around his hand as she began to tug him up the stairs that would lead them up to the roof that was the perfect place for stargazing, giving him no chance to even protest. the sun was just setting on the skyline of toronto, making for the perfect view already as daya spun around on her heels and smiled at ryker once they had reached the last flight of stairs. “thank you for giving in and doing this with me,” she murmured in a soft voice before she continued to climb up the stairs, every once in awhile glancing over her shoulder to make sure that he was still following her. “do you think we’ll actually see some shooting stars?” the brunette asked as they had finally reached the end of the stairs, now standing in the middle of the rooftop, dark sky already glistening with stars. “this is beautiful..”
