Beastember #3 Gurn

A Gurn looks like a hairless Elasmotherium, but when it came to drawing the armour-like skin I felt like inking a bizarre version of Rhyhorn or some other rock Pokemon XD

Its teeth bother me a lot. WoT 2 actually mentions those, stating gurns use their sharp teeth to catch rodents. I mean... ok? Many Ungulates eat meat from time to time, but they search mostly for carrion. They don’t need to catch a living prey. Teeth like that can be useful when you want to catch a fish, but I don’t think gurns have opportunity to do so. Aaaand, I believe piranha-like teeth can be pretty bothersome when you are trying to graze. Just saying.

Headcanon: Gurns evolved on much richer, savannah like environment, that was originally the Western Approach. After the Seconds Blight, the land became a desert and many native species declined in numbers or even went extinct. Gurns are very rare now, trying to live in hostile environment, struggling to find enough food.
