after riding the bus back down from nogodan I was walking to find a place to eat food when a van stopped next to me and asked where I was going. It was this super friendly girl!! I said I was going to get some food and shes like oh I’ll give you a ride! She asked what I wanted to eat, I said I already ate at that bibimbap place, and I’m not picky but probably not too spicy. She suggested jjajangmyeon, which I was totally down for. she drove me to her favorite spot but they were closed for a couple days, so then she took me a couple blocks over to her second favorite spot. I asked for a selfie before leaving. she was the nicest person I saw on the whole trip.

she spoke a little english but half of our conversation was in google translate on my phone. it worked out really well though. the Jjajangmyeon was super delicious.
