I lost my bunny this year after 12 great years so seeing your photos of Gus make my day
I'm so sorry for your loss! 12 years is a good long run for a bun and I'm sure they knew they were loved the whole time ❤️
Have some more Gus! ❤️

Gus wants to go play on my island too
One of my favourite things about being back in Melbourne is being able to visit my old housemate @gus-the-bun so i made him some fan art
He is a very good bun
Gus looks like she's planning something in those pics. Probably why he's so rotund; full of mischief
So, bunnies request grooming from other bunnies (and humans!) by lowering their heads to the ground, and if necessary, nudging/headbutting. And humans can request kisses from bunnies the same way! Putting your head on the ground next to a bunny means ‘kisses please!’
The problem is, the bunny may think ‘no I can get lower to the ground than that’ and will shove their head in under your cheek to say ‘see? Now I’m the winner you have to groom me instead you dumb giant rabbit’
how's your little snowbun doing?
Being dramatic, mostly
I always meant to ask, do you let Gus run around your house or does he have a place that's just for him?
Both! He has a pen in the kitchen where he sleeps, eats, and poops (like a good boy!) but he’s only shut in there when I’m sleeping - The rest of the time he’s free roam and hangs out wherever he feels like it.
I let him out in the morning and then he gets locked up again when I go to bed. He always goes back when I ask him too cos he knows he will get food - I’ve never had to physically catch him and put him in. He LOVES bed time lol.
Edit: Just to add if anyone didn’t know - Gus is housetrained! He goes in a litterbox like a cat.
