I like to think that Veronica Sterling subconsciously held Tanner Briggs to husband standards after they started working together again

Like if they all grabbed lunch with the Naturals to discuss a case or something and she can’t finish her food, she just slides it over to him and goes “I can’t finish this, you eat it.”

Or she gives him her laptop bag to hold when she’s juggling 57000 different things

She glares at him when she even suspects me might have been checking someone out before remembering they’re divorced

She laughs until she can’t breath after he accidentally references an old inside joke

And he just accepts it

Briggs offered closure to all of the Naturals at some point, he goes back to Lia’s cult in an attempt to get her mom back and give closure, Dean goes back to see his father (closure that he’s locked up and can’t hurt anyone anymore), Cassie gets closure that Webber is dead and he even lets her go to his apartment, Michael doesn’t need closure for his trauma and I forgot about Sloane

I love Tanner Briggs

Rating the Naturals characters

1: TANNER MF BRIGGS. (He’s literally me. I don’t tolerate ANY hate to him ever.)

2: Dean Redding (perfect example of anger as a result of Trauma.)

3: Lia Zhang (my fav of the girls. As a cult survivor myself I love her so much.)

4: Sloane Tavish (my autistic daughter)

5: Cassie Hobbes (Perfect example of blocking out trauma)

6: Michael Townsend (no notes. I love him.)

7: Veronica Sterling (not a perfect victim, but I don’t like how every time someone mentions Briggs it HAS to be tied to her. He was not that desperate for her back to the point it was his entire personality)

8: Judd Hawkins (Wish we got more of my king)

9: Lacey Locke (also not a perfect victim, I hate her for what she did to Cassie and the boys, but she was a victim and I think that whatever she was going through mentally contributed heavily to everything she did)

10: Director Sterling. Ew.

It makes me very mad when people forget that Scarlett was Briggs’ friend too or that post-remarriage, Veronica still resented Tanner because he brought back memories of Scarlett

She wouldn’t have remarried him if she didn’t love him guys

Today I saw someone do Sterling and Briggs with “when I’m with him I’m thinking of you” and the thinking of you was Scarlett

Like guys

They were all friends

And Veronica does love Tanner 🫩
