Gustav was sitting in the huge, comfy rocking chair in the living room. Exhausted, tired but happy like never before. Being part of this amazing experience, all the love he felt in this moment and the excitement. A concert area with ten thousand fans was nothing compared to it. After all this years as musician and always living in the spot light of society he finally found his place. Right here in his living room, holding his son in his arms. The little guy was just a few day old, but already the middle of his universe. The tiny fingers, the small face, the warmth of the six pound body, was everything he needed in life. “Hello little boy.”, the proud father whispered, running one of his finger gently over the babies face. His huge paws seemed so misplaced on the tiny boy. “We love you.” The chair, still slowly rocking forward and back again, made a little sound with every movement. Gustav had spend the most of the day writing a letter to Bill. Putting all his thoughts and emotions into it. A idea of his lawyer, who wrote the paper for their wills, calling Bill as legal guardian for the kid. Something he could read, if something should happen. So he did it and the little envelope was now laying on the table, with a sheet of paper, written in his spidery handwriting.
>> Bill, my friend, my brother!
Hopefully you’ll never read this lines, but if you still have to do it, it means that we’re dead. Don’t cry for us, because you have many other things to do. We chose you as godfather for your boy, because we knew that you would be the best choice. You’re caring, reliable, loving and selfless. I’m sure that I don’t have to give you advices for the education of him or how you have to treat him. You’ll do the very best and I’m very thankful that you agreed to take this responsibility. Instead I want to thank you for everything you’ve done for me… no for us. You changed my life Bill. Of course you and Tom. You gave me a future, right in the moment we met in this little decrepit club. If I have a list of the top ten moments in my life, eight of them are with you guys. Thank you for taking me with you to the adventure of our lives! Being a friend and a brother. I hope I could give you at least something back. Never forget I always believe in you and what you do. In you decisions, hopes and dreams. You’re strong and independent, never let somebody take this away from you. Stay the way you are and never forget me. Maybe I can’t give you butt touches anymore, but I’m still there. I know I should’ve told this more often right into your face, but you know me. I’m not good with feelings. But you deserve to know it. You deserve to be loved. I’m proud of you! Take care of him!

Gustav was so lost in the sight of his little boy, that he almost missed the silent knock on the door. Lini just slipped her head in, smiling about her two boys. “Gus? Love? Bill is here. Shall I take him?” she asked gently and full of love. The drummer just mad an repellent movement with his free hand. “No. You should take a bath and make a nap. You were up all night. I’ll take care of him.” Gustav smiled, placing a kiss on the forehead of his wife. She just nodded and left the room, right in the moment, when Bill came in, carrying ten different shopping bags in every hand.
