5th birthday surprise!
Earlier today after class, me and Angie headed to the Victory office to catch up in the leaders' convergence. When we got there, the youth leaders have already started, singing a worship song and then prayed. Right after, we had a little huddle time with each other and surprisingly, Kuya Job flashed a video on the screen presenting those who celebrated their birthdays this month.
All smiles here and there from us while looking at our pictures and I was touched after seeing it. :"> Happy birthday to us, Kuya Ralph, Lorenz, Khai, Joe, as well as Ate Ana! And advanced happy birthday to Kuya Job, too! :D
Ate Ana asked the celebrants to sit next to each other, and then each of them gave their messages for us. I was actually about to cry, but then at the back of my mind I thought, 'Ang tagal na ng birthday ko, iiyak pa ako. :)))' Hahaha!
I really appreciate them for being so thoughtful and doing things like those. I mean, even though there were many of us who celebrated our birthdays, what they did really warmed my heart and made me feel that I am very much loved.
And so God has given me another reason to love Him more and give all the glory and praise to Him. I just know He loves me so much to make me feel incomplete and lonely.
Despite the absence of my family, God has presented to me lots of people who would encourage me and emotionally support me as I live my life as a Christian. He is really amazing for letting me realize how great life could be when the only One I put my trust to is just Him.
I am very much blessed with my Lifebox family. I thank God for touching our lives and become leaders who would encourage one another as we step out in faith together. I pray for us to really grow deeply in love with God and successfully pass on to the next generation how it is to be a follower of Christ.
