It's particularly times like this - when I'm home alone all day, depressed, and I know the boys will be gone until after I'm asleep- that I'm super glad I have my kitties. They're good company and they are actually down to cuddle sometimes.

I officially relate to ladies with kids by talking about my cat. Like yeah I didn't birth him and he's not as huge a financial burden as a human child but he still jacks up my sleeping patterns like all the time by deciding that the middle of the night is a wonderful time to go mountain climbing on the bookshelf. Or crying for no reason. Or sitting on me. At least toddlers understand the word no.
