Hi! Im Cas! Here i'll be documenting what I can find about &hopefully get more people to care about this short film, 'Arc of a Bird', written and directed by Hugh Schulze, Staring David Dastmalchian, Rachel Sondag, & Guy Massey (source-https://www.imdb.com/title/tt1333978/?ref_=mv_close)
How did I get here? through a series of events along the lines of watching a movie or two, stumbling across the blog @polkadotjohnson, seeing them talk about and reblog a link from @accidentally-in-fictional-love for a movie called 'Cass' (also written and directed by Hugh Schulze), thinking "oh woah thats my name lolol bro i should watch it", watching it, sitting in dead silence for 30 minutes (not an overexaggeration) after watching it because i was so enamored&shook by it (a reaction only the FNAF movie & I saw the tv glow have been able to get out of me), going back to polkadotjohnson’s blog, seeing them talk about a movie called ‘Arc of a bird’, also written by Hugh Schulze, also with the same artist character Joshua, also played by David Dastmalchian who was in Cass, that was a prequel to the movie that just SHOOK me, only to find out that the movie is LOST MEDIA…currently(hopefully not forever fingers crossed) unable to watch ANYWHERE… safe to say that drove me up a wall, and so now im making a tumblr blog about it
Main sources/leads I ask that anyone reading this (so like prolly noone but idk) doesn’t send any emails to anyone here until 10/11/25, as I have been this past week, and I don’t want to ruffle any feathers (...get it…cus this film…is about…a bird) Also all of this is copied and pasted from a google doc I’ve been working on so sorry for any errors or weird shorthand, if you need clarification lmk! Whats weirdest is the photos listed with it. Both because for many of the people who worked on the film, its their only credit and so ive seen the images 100000000s of times, and because outside of being able to see Joshua's art studio in the BG behind one of them, they seem to have 0 connection to the film, most notably by how GOOD the image quality is???)
