Se dedica al campo de la pintura digital sobre lienzo y la instalación también con elementos digitales.

Se graduó de la universidad de Tennessee para después mudarse a Nueva York. Es una obra post conceptual que utiliza elementos fotográficos y escultóricos, así como de la cotidianidad como puede ser un periódico, y de ahí crea una obra singular. 

Suele trabajar en serie y ha expuesto numerossas veces tanto en Estados Unidos como internacionalmente, en museos como por ejemplo el MACBA de Barcelona.

“Over the last couple of years I’ve changed my whole way of thinking to try to be as truthful and honest as I possibly can, about my life and what I’ve gone through, and about my feelings,” Guyton says. “For some reason in country music, they want just everything to be light and fluffy, but my world isn’t always light and fluffy.”
