Hopefully interesting fact: I went through a weird period a few years ago where I occasionally got night terrors, and was literally scared so badly by one of them I scrambled out of bed and ran to my kitchen and spent the next ten minutes trying to convince myself to go back to bed. I haven't had one since. (Sorry, I'm really not a very interesting person, aha)

oh, i used to have night terrors too!!! once i woke up while i was in the process of throwing my lamp across the room

also once i woke up and i'd knocked over my entire nightstand and everything on it and just. night terrors are AWFUL i'm glad we both don't have them anymore c: though i've been having nightmares lately euggghh

Sentret/Furret, Tauros, Psyduck, Totodile line, Wooper, and Miltank can all learn Surf. Miltank's likely the closest, since I suspect you're trying to get to Cinnabar, but it can be a bit hard to get. Tauros too but they're even harder.

is cinnabar that one island town in johto? i thought it was the kanto one, but yeah
