I've watched... Not that much of TNG, tbh. I mean, I've caught a few episodes on TV, and I've watched others friends have recommended, and I've tried to watch it from the beginning a while back but honestly I don't like the first ep and I've not managed to finish it xD I know I could just skip it, but eh... Haven't finished DS9 and TOS yet either, and I'd rather continue those, and I just don't watch much TV on my own anyway, so it's maybe an episode a week unless I'm in a binging mood and have the time for it

So I'll do this for all of star trek combined instead!

• A character who feels like home

Janeway <3 My first and favorite Captain, I just need to see her or hear the Voy theme and I go <3<3<3

• The character with the greatest wasted/unexplored potential

Hmm that's a mixed bag for a bunch of characters where I feel like they messed up in the end, or never delved as deep into their backstory as they could have... But on the other hand, they're already quite complex characters and I wouldn't call it too big a wasted and unexplored potential... Maybe Kes? She got an interesting storyline for a bit, and then they fucked it up again imo! Also Number One, I've heard she's in one of the new treks too now, but from what I've heard I don't rly like the direction they're going with her, making her more 'normal' instead of exploring the differences in depth

Probably Because there's so much wasted potential aka She's Barely In It adsfghjkl

Philippa Georgiou Prime DSC definitely greatest wasted and unexplored potential ever, Why didn't we at least get a few more eps of her as Captain, or at least some flashbacks?? Anything??? Not even talking about how I'd just want her around Instead of (or in addition to) Mirrorgiou for all of DSC

• Crossovers/AUs that pique my interest

Adsfg there's a bunch of great J/7 meets Mirandy AUs on Ao3 and ffnet that I've been reading, some in the star trek 'verse and some modern ones and even a historical one or two, I think most by redheadgrrl? I could look for the links if you like, they're great femslash fics with interesting plot!

22. if you could write your own TV show, what would it be like?

Oh man! I don’t know! This is a great question and I feel like I should have an answer, but I don’t. The only thing I know for sure is that it would have to be a comedy. Maybe an ensemble situation? I would *want* it to be like New Girl of NBC Thursday night in the 2000s, but it would probably be more like…State of Grace or a TV version of Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants.

42. what’s the longest amount of time you’ve ever watched a show in one sitting?

I have a strong memory of watching all of Gilmore Girls season 2 in one sitting and it felt like the longest experience (probably because it was on DVD and I had to get up and change the discs. also because my mom accidentally bought season 2 instead of season 1 so we were confused about 30% of the time.)

1. if you could reboot one TV show, which one would it be?

I feel like all my favorite shows already had reboots (Sabrina [meh], Boy Meets World [cute], Gilmore Girls [🥴]). I still want that Lizzie McGuire sequel, but does that count as a reboot? Actually, if we are putting reboots and sequels in the same category, I’m going to say Greek. I LOVED Greek and I would be so so happy to see Cappie back on my screen.

12. have you ever watched a show just for a specific actor? did you enjoy it?

Yes, yes I have, ha! I started Selfie for John Cho and Heroes for Milo Ventimiglia and I very much enjoyed both (until Heroes totally went off the rails which was, like, season 2.)

28. who would be your dream cameo on your favourite show?

I’m weirdly terrible at fan casting? So I’m going to go with whichever American female character actor I can get in order to see Ted Lasso’s mom on my TV screen!! I need this character to exist and at this point I don’t care who it is (jk, I super care, I just trust Theo Park to do a better job casting than I ever could.)

If I’m going to be an annoying American soccer fan, I also think Julie Foudy or my beloved Tim Howard would make fun cameos.
