Revenant, Kryptis & the Mists
Ok, so:
The Mists are a place the existed first, before everything else in the universe. (The Mists Wiki-Page)
Revenants commune with the Mists, as per their official Wiki-Page. They can channel an echo of a dead or alive beings (historical figures - good and bad) and enhance their powers.
The Kryptis are living in Nayos (The Realm of Dreams) which is also a realm in the Mists, as per the official Wiki-Page of Nayos.
To get to the point I am making:
It is entirely possible for a Revenant to call upon a Kryptis as their Legend.
A great example for a echo/legend would be:
Lady Mosyn
So now comes in my headcanon:
Since Revenants can also summon Mallyx the demon and literally transform into a version of it. I don't see why it couldn't be possible to also transform (at least part of) your body into kryptis parts.
