I sincerely apologise to the Chalice of Tears jumping puzzle. You are not as bad as this horrendous World 2 Zone 3 of SAB. God, this is so unfun, I utterly hate this event so much.

Guild Wars 2 is my favourite game ever and at that point I don't think this fact will change, so it's very easy for me to ignore problems.
Well the problems are starting to get very hard to ignore.
The quality drop in the Xpac stories is SAVAGE. The Gyala nonsense was weird and it didn't connect with anything, SOTO was fine but not great, and now?? Seriously what the fuck is this?? I can't even remember the name of the update bruh that's how worse things have gotten
When they said "shorter Xpacs with less waiting time" I was okay with that because that's how The Elders Scrolls Online does it and it works!! BUT AT LEAST TESO GIVES US MORE THAN 30 MINUTES OF STORY CONTENT WHEN IT DROPS. AND THE STORY MAKES SENSE.
It's like they wanted to do a story speedrun. It doesn't make any sense. We meet Irja, they seem like a good character to develop what the shit is going on in Nayos. They die horribly in the next ten minutes and every npc acts as if I'm supposed to care?? Fuck no, develop the goddamn character first!! Same with Heitor, they try to build up her threat and everything, then she and Peitha talk for like 1m30 seconds and you kill her. Wtf??? There was no emotional investment AT ALL.
Nayos looks good but then I got back to Drizzlewood Coast on an other character and thought "wow. Even 2-3 years ago the quality of the maps was SO MUCH BETTER"
Also: idk if this is an issue in English, but the French voices are starting to... Disappear. 1 out 3 lines is voiced. Sometimes your toon will speak but one line isn't voiced. Sometimes all your dialogue is voiced but the npc you're talking to isn't. I play to hear Bruno Méyère talking through my sylvari's mouth, thank you very much.
Yeah anyway I'm EXTREMELY disappointed.

And sure, there's a wall like this early, but you can go past it, so why would you think you can't get through the rest of the stage? And then the second wall has flammable jars you can use to break it if you don't have the torch. So WHY???
If there's one thing I despise more than ANYTHING in games it is wasting my time. Wasting my time is a surefire way to make me profusely hate whatever they have made.
Does anyone else find any sense in this? I logged in for the first time since April 1st where I made that post, merely AGREEING with the OPer how the lack of events is somewhat saddening to see, was considered an attack on the devs, their team and the company as a whole.

I’ve been strugging with myself on rather I should uninstall GW2 or not lately. I have no friends (since they’ve all quit the game), I can’t finish a lot of content (because it’s either player gated with “you don’t have x amount of raid currency, fu” or “i’m afking with my engie in Doric’s so fu” or straight up annoyed at farming masteries each patch for less than an hr of update) just to see how the devs went pussy over the obvious fact that people weren’t happy about a second year in a row of either A: fake patch notes or B: SAB for a week?
I miss rping. But this is just at the breaking point for me. I love my Sylvari(s), but dayam. I can’t even with that shitty response. I can understand shitposting to warrant that kinda shit, but to merely AGREE and joke about another year of patch notes = warnings? Come the fuck on.

You know how The Elder Dragons are basically the ones regulating magic? How they balance it and everything. How killing the Dragons basically mean Tyria is digging their own grave?
Well, maybe not. Eventually, all the Elder Dragons are killed, by us or by future generations. But eventually, they’ll all die. Unless a new dragon that we don’t need to kill comes along to regulate all this magic, Tyria’s basically fucked. Except are we forgetting something? Yep, it’s Glint’s egg.
Glint’s egg is still an option, Glint’s offspring is the only feasible option left for Tyria to survive if it HAS to kill all the Elder Dragons. Which leads to the next idea, I don’t think we’re able to kill all the Elder Dragons in this one period, Glint’s offspring needs to at least hatch, and needs to grow. If we do end up killing all the dragons in this period of time, maybe the egg could somehow regulate magic, intense amounts of it, and survive, as an egg.
(But this is only assuming that these dragons can regulate magic, that dragons directly influenced by the Elder Dragons (not like Wyverns), their champions and in turn, their offsprings, can regulate and balance the intense, raw power of magic. If not, Tyria’s fucked.)
A thing about horns.
Y’all people complaining about the horn sounds clearly have never heard an actual warhorn. Because the ‘fart’ noise is more of a barritone very very large and wide-horn, an example of a winding-horn or blowhorn linked below.
