#4 (favorite valar/valier) Manwe, hands down. Good thing the prompt doesn't ask why bc the list is LONG. I remember it used to be Tulkas bc I was and am still fascinated by a god of war being famous for his mirth and laughter (he's still one of my faves). but after the deep studies i've done of Manwe (and Melkor) sighhhh...i'm in for him deep. and he's loves birds so win

#15 (favorite ted nasmith painting) this was quite a hard choice i have to admit

there's too much nostalgia when i see this painting for me to not list it as a favorite. It's the first one of his I ever saw, it's the artwork on my first copy of the silm and it's what drew me to pick up the book...this just hits a special spot in my heart every time i see it

there's so many to pick from!!!

#18 (what's the hardest name or word for you to pronounce?) i think I'll have to go back to when tolkien's world was still new to me. Pronunciation tends to come easily to me and I can't really recall names that are/were a stumbling block. Telperinquar I recall being one of the harder ones to figure out how to say, and then for it to roll off the tongue smoothly.

No different answer. Araw. The Sindarin name for Orome. I "know" how it sounds but I still can't really get it out of my mouth!

How are you doing? How's the week treating you? I see you're back to Silm posting, nice nice ^^

lol thanks. Week is going pretty well I can't really complain, but that is the challenge I issued myself! Every day to post something about Tolkien. Like I said in that one post I've really missed interacting with the fandom and I've been so sporadic for at least the last two years, dipping in and out at random.

So I'm trying to commit to change that. Every day post something - original, not just rbs with me throwing my commentary in the tags. It can serious, crack, long, short, in depth, a passing thought, just something. Today's only day 2 but....i really miss the fandom and the engagement. And I miss reading tolkien regularly and this is an ok way to force it along. i think anyway
