I’ve been waiting with much unpleasant feelings for this time a come, and show up in my memories which I’ve been looking through every day knowing it’s coming. It’s now finally been a year since this treasure of a soul passed on after being such a strong little lady through all of her struggles, as well as being one of the most loving creatures that kept me company through some of the toughest and loneliest years of my life. I will always be eternally thankful to her for every moment she gifted us whilst being on this earth, and all the joy she brought to people around her and all of the happiness she managed to feel during her time with us. I’m very sad she and Luka never got to meet, but I’m glad she didn’t have to experience this horrible plague and a continued stress filled and unwell life as her medical problems deteriorated. It’s felt like a an impossible amount of time since she’s been gone, and I still cry every time I think of her and how she didn’t deserve the bad parts of life she got dealt. I miss you every day. You and your mother Fudge and her mum and your grandmother Silver Grey are the best little ladies I’ve ever met as well as your grandad Star, my very first cat, and I’m so happy to have had such a long generation from the same cat family that has stemmed from my childhood. Your sister Bella is still with us and she gave us Varg so you and Fudge and Silver still live on too, and I hope you all get to have a lovely time with eachother wherever you all might be now. Today is the first day we got snow, everywhere. I like to think it’s for her.
