You and Yugyeom had only been together for three months. But every second was like being in a fairytale. You went to the park for picnics, you held hands by the river, he won you stuffed animals at the amusement park, you made him chocolate milkshakes and it was bliss. Tonight the two of you built a pillow fort on the floor of your apartment and even strung pretty fairy lights across the top. Your plan was to watch a scary movie together. It was already 8:00pm and you hadn’t even started the movie. You were both so absorbed in playing in your fort and basically just looking at each other for the last two hours.

“Should we start watching?” You said. “I almost forgot we were even here to watch a movie.” He said laughing. You put on the movie and it was really scary. You kept jumping and hiding in Yugyeom’s arms and he tried to hide how happy it made him since you couldn’t hug like this in public or in front of his hyungs; but it didn’t work because his smile couldn’t be contained. “It’s not even that scary [Y/n].You’re such a cute baby.” As he says that a scary pop-up came up and he yelled “Oh my god!” And buries himself in your hair. You give him a judgemental look rasing your eyebrows at him. He returns your looks hitting you softly with a pillow.

The two of you eventually finished the movie and were tightly holding each other as the credits came on the screen. He looked at you still cuddling you in his arms then he quickly kissed you on the nose, which made you blush. “I should probably go home.” He said and let go of you, getting up but, having to stay on his knees since the top of your tent was so low. But he then peaked through the blankets that formed the walls of your fort and into the dark living room looking out the window. “It’s kind of dark out there.” He said with a slightly worried, but slightly teasing voice. “Well yeah it’s like 11pm pabo~” You say playfully hitting him. “Not that the movie was scary. But all the events happened at night and it said it was based on a true story so…” He looked at you and bit his lip, a habit he displayed when he was nervous.

“Maybe I…” HIs face was beet red and he looked away from you to the ground. You laid down on the floor so that your face was now in the spot were he was. “Maybe you?” He looked at you and under his breath managed to whisper “Maybe I could stay…here?” You blushed realising that neither of you had stayed overnight with each other. “We don’t have a schedule tomorrow so I think it would be okay with-” You cut him off and started tickling him to break the tension in this closed space. You were too embarrassed to say yes but both of you knew he was staying the night. For another hour you two play cards, rock-paper-scissors, some stupid tickling game he invented (which was really just an excuse to tickle you) and drank chocolate milk. You were both stalling. Your hearts were both racing thinking about sleeping in the same bed (well in this case on the floor).

“I’m kind of tired [Y/N].” He said giggling. “We should probably go to bed. Like, go to sleep I mean.” You said fumbling your words. He laughs at your cute shyness and nods his head. You both lay down and face a side of the fort without looking at each other. There is about a foot of space between you and it’s just enough where you feel his body heat radiating. Yugyeom focuses on the sound of your breath; you hear him adjusting the covers over his body. You decide to quietly turn and face him. You watch his spacious, wide back slightly moving as he breathed; and noticed his long legs that poked out of the entrance to your fort which causes you to giggle a little. “What’s so funny?” He turns around and is surprised to see you’re already facing in his direction. The space between you was closed and your noses were practically touching. You both never shared this much skinship in one day, but neither of you moved to change it. You stayed like that for a long moment.

“It’s just your legs are so long.” You say, breaking the silence. “I guess so.” He says not glancing away from you. Without saying a word he pulls you into his chest and you adjust yourself so now you are laying in his arms as you both look at the string of light above you. “[Y/N]?”He says. “Yugyeom?” You sleepily reply. “You know I think that we are meant for each other. And I reall-” He isn’t able to fiish because he hears your soft breath and realises you’re asleep. “Goodnight.” He says smiling to himself but disappointed he didn’t get to finish what he was saying.

The next morning you wake up and stare at Yugyeom’s angel face. You remembered him trying to say something to you before bed and You traced his features with a delicate finger, trying to figure it out: his jaw, his nose, his eyebrows; but, as you brushed over his lips his dark eyelashes fluttered and you closed your eyes realising he was about to wake up. Yugyeom fixed his gaze to your “sleeping face” as soon as he was awake, he was obsessed with every detail. Your tiny mole on your cheek, your button nose and your slightly sexy parted lips which caused his ears to go red. You were perfect to him in every way imaginable. You fluttered your eyes, pretending to wake up. “Good morning sleepy head.” He said as he sat up but still looking at you.

“Hey there.” You say back acting groggy. “Should we make breakfast?” “Sure, but wasn’t there something…well I know were talking to me before I fell asleep I just don’t remeb-” This time he cuts you off. “I love you.” He blurts out. You both sit there in front of each other and you hit him with a pillow and yell out“I love you too!” As you run out of the fort to escape his counter-attack
