This is my first fic for The Apothecary Diaries. Doing my yuri duty and making Lady Lihua/Lady Gyokuyou content!

Summary:

Lihua is no longer the indisputably most beautiful High Consort in the Inner Palance. She now has competition. It’s as terrifying as it is thrilling. (A pre-canon fic from Lady Lihua’s POV as Lady Gyokuyou moves into the Inner Palace.)
