Here's to all women who still smile and get up even after they spent the whole night crying; to those whose beauty exudes even after they were left broken and shattered; to the lioness at heart who seemed to be unstoppable even after every heartache. It's not just the monthly period, pregnancy and motherhood that make us women, but the dysme, hormonal imbalance and the mood swings too. It's not by just being too emotional or sensitive but being free to express ourselves and cry then feel alright afterwards. We find our own beauty and embrace what we are, our flaws and imperfections. Yes, we might look like the vulnerable one. But we seemed to carry so much weight in this world. We are women. It takes another true woman to feel the same way. And it takes a real man to understand and accept us for who we are. For you cannot expect us to be perfect, we here on earth are all damaged goods.
