coffee shop au: surprise surprise! im actually not the biggest fan of coffee shop aus, but the idea of zoe being the cute barista that xingchen keeps frequenting this coffee shop for despite the fact that 1) they dont drink coffee 2) the coffee isnt even that great & 3) they kind of have to go out of their way to get there is fucking HILARIOUS. they always just end up giving their coffee to someone else or trying the weird concoctions zoe makes with the STRAIGHTEST faces they can manage even tho they HATE coffee. someone pls save xingchen from theirself. zoe isnt even a fan of coffee herself so nexkjek it's like. EVEN MORE hilarious when u realize WHY she's making this customer suffer through trying her concoctions. college au: OH THIS IS ACTUALLY CANON THIS IS FUCKING HILARIOUS OKAY. xingchen's the straight a student teacher's pet who literally has never done anything wrong, they are So good, they have a wonderful schedule they have a planner they have a wonderful sleeping schedule they dont get distracted they even manage to fit in extracurriculars. they're ON TOP OF THEIR GAME OKAY!!!! zoe on the other hand. is the back row slacker that manages to enrage the teacher with a debate that ACTUALLY makes sense. she cant sit still & has a horrible sleeping schedule & procrastinates like CRAZY but still somehow is neck and neck with xingchen and they HATE it.
