odette grew up in la and loved her life. she was head cheerleader, popular, top grades and on track for an ivy league early admission when she finished school and then it all blew up
at 18 moved to greenview after her parents got divorced.
she had a turbulent childhood of parents who hated one another but stayed together for the sake of their child. she grew up hoping that her parents would see sense and file for divorce
eventually they were smart enough to call it quits.
odette moving to greenview meant that she left her first love behind. they mutually called it quits when her mom announced she was taking odette away. both of them said it was to focus on university but it hurt to leave him and she held it against her mom
she put up one hell of a fight when the move was taking place, wanting to stay with her boyfriend and friends, her mom had to drag her into the car to leave la
they argued the whole way from la to greenview
she moved into dorms for university to get away from her mom and completed her higher education before becoming a child minder/nanny.
her mom passed away during odette's time at university, a hit and run car accident
odette's childish demeanour was replaced with a maturity only death and trauma could bring
her dad never attended the funeral

since her moms death, odette has worked hard on herself to be more compassionate and kind to others
