you know the feeling when you invest yourself in something whether it's a book, a show, a song, a movie, even a person and you feel it, you feel the ending coming near you know it has to end and you try your best to avoid it you put off finishing the book, you begin to re watch episodes instead of continuing, you rewind the movie because "you missed your favorite part", and you stop talking to that person because it's better than facing the inevitable but at some point you're going to have to face those fears you're going to have to pick that book back up, you can only re watch the same episodes so many times, you're going to have to continue the movie because now everyone is sure that you've seen your favorite part at least 6 times now and you're going to have to contact that person and try to find out where you two stand with each other this feeling is probably one of the shittiest, heart-wrenching feelings but it's also one of the most relieving because then you can move on and you no longer have to wonder how it will be or if you'll like it because now you know
