“I’d never expect you to be here so late, Detective~”
Ryan flinched, raising his head too fast that his neck gave an aching throb. He widened his eyes, a knife perched proudly into the wood of his desk, directly in front of him. Oon the knife was the marking, ‘Delirious’.
He winced at the sharp intake of breath from behind him. Another knife slammed into the desk on his right with a soft, ‘Boo’.
He noticed his hands were handcuffed together. He pulled them off of his desk and towards him only to watch another knife pierce his wooden desk, “Don’t move, Ryan~”
He checked his surroundings, the nearby clock read midnight and so far, he could tell he was still in the Sheriff’s office. As soon as he could escape, he could call in backup.
“So, you’re the infamous H2O Delirious...”
“Why yes, I see you’ve been reading my files, Detective...” The murderer stands in front of the desk, searching through two yellow folders of documents, “Cases from 5 years ago as well.”
Ryan furrows his brow, watching Delirious pull out a few pictures to shiver with delight. “And you are a fan of me, Detective Ryan?”
“Um... well, not exactly. You’re a disgusting creature.”
“Ah, I see. Well, I’d be careful if I were you, you might not make it and see broad daylight.”
“Either way I see it, I’m never being set free again.” Ryan frowned, “And I’m not usually one to care.”
“An investigator as popular and successful as yourself would hate to simply ‘disappear’, right?”
“Continue.” Ryan’s brows furrowed again and he frowned, what was this psychopathic idiot saying now?
“Well, I’d like to kidnap and torture you until the police shut down every investigation of my crimes, of course!”
