omg okay. so the youtuber i was watching completely skipped over the bathroom scene in episode 3, and if i had like. no idea about it, i’d actually hate travis and that ship. but idk, after learning of it and playing through it myself, it made me..really.. idk, like sal obviously has an idea abt whats up w/ travis and him offering him a safe place to stay from his abusive father and like, wanting to make sure he has a friend to talk to:

made me kind of drawn to the ship i guess? and in episode 4, its like super implied that they really did become friends over the years since that event, bc literally why else would travis be there on sal’s defending side during the trial.
im not going to excuse what travis did, but that doesnt mean im not sympathetic towards him. bc like, i really am sympathetic towards him. being a gay kid an abusive, religious household is Terrifying and a very real thing, shit fucking sucks :( i dont think travis has had anyone come up to him and be like “yo. whats going on” like sal did. i can see why ppl dont like this pairing romantically, bc im like still kinda iffy on it. i kinda want to wait until ep 5 to see if travis’ character development really did come through, but like. u cant deny that they shouldnt be at least friends. so i guess travis can have a safe place to go to, like sal’s apartment
oh Yeah, it kind of Really Annoys me when ppl compare salvis to bkdk, like. u cant equate 1 instance to 10 years of bullying, plus like, at least travis apologizes and starts to be a better person. like, if we’re seriously comparing salvis to bnha ships, its more like ina.todo... and i Vividly remember the “”ina.todo is abusive”” discourse.. big yike........ ghDdfhg
