One thing I've learned about children is their ability to be present. I was recently asked what it was like to meet kids in the slums of Mumbai. Honestly, these children exuded so much joy, curiosity and very clearly want to play and have fun. Their lives aren't easy, but that's the thing about children, they don't hold the weight of circumstance on their shoulders. As adults we sometimes miss the opportunity to connect, to have fun and experience what's happening around us, because we're so weighed down by worries. My friend @bc_serna recently wrote "imagine a mindset where every morning you were flooded with more gratitude than worry" - maybe that's the key to being present. by h_cato http://ift.tt/1SgaD9s

Squatting incredibly low to the ground, she works for hours like this, in the gardens of the Tomb of Itimad-ud-Daulah (also known as the mini Taj). She waits for a chance to engage with tourist in the hopes of earning extra rupees.

Besides tourism from the Taj Mahal, there is not a great deal of economy in Agra. People find resourceful ways to earn money, here a woman grows grass to sell as animal feed.
